"Imagine Me" Film Screening
Join the Department of Teaching + Learning in Art + Design (TLAD) and Project Open Door (POD) at the RISD Museum on Saturday, October 25th at 2 PM for a special screening of Imagine Me, a documentary by local filmmaker Phoenix Kabali. This film follows POD students during Spring 2025 as they design and paint a public mural, a powerful demonstration of creativity, community engagement, and the transformative potential of public art.
This documentary is particularly meaningful as it commemorates Project Open Door’s 20th anniversary of empowering young artists. To celebrate this milestone, POD teamed up with local artist and POD alum Kendel Joseph on the mural project, the documentary captures this full circle moment of mentorship, legacy, and creative community.
National Portfolio Day
