This class taught teens about sewing as both a practical skill and an art form. This course valued slow making, experimentation, sustainability, and personal expression. It was open to complete beginners, as well as students with prior sewing experience. Teens also got to Develop foundational hand-stitching and machine-sewing skills. Learned to follow a commercial sewing pattern and construct a wearable object. They also gained experience working with both traditional and unconventional materials.
